Midsummer Camp

Celebrate Midsummer in a place of active resistance

 🗓️ 19.-28. June

📍 Rødbyveien 43, Hurummarka, Norway

 🏕️ self organised camping

We want to celebrate midsummer in a place of active resistance against the war machine and environmental destruction. The area where the camp will take place is squatted since the beginning of April 2026. It is surrounded by forests, lakes, a house and mountains. This means that there will always be space for everybody 😉

Let’s co-create a diverse program of skillshares, workshops, music, DIY, art and actions. Let’s build a community and different barrios together, let’s grow a culture of care.

💬 If you want to co-create the program, message us at knuskrigsmaskinen.camp@systemli.org

How to Support the Camp

We love for you to inform us about your plans before the camp starts , so we can hold space for it to go as smooth as possible. If that doesn’t work for you, we can create space for anything you might bring spontaneously during the camp together.

What does self-organized mean?

A self-organized camp means that we won’t plan everything from start to finish. There will be basic infrastructure for camping, eating, drinking, toilets, music acts and program. Everything else will be figured out during the camp: we will have one meeting each morning to discuss about how to make things go smoothly. All participants of the camp are invited to bring up ideas, take on responsibilities and contribute to the program. Of course, you don’t have to do anything you don’t want to do.

How can I come by?

You can always come directly to the camp at Rødbyveien 43, Hurummarka. There is no entrance-fee, however the camp and protests are financed by donations. Everyone is welcome: children, students, workers, unemployed, dreamers, elders, animals, skepticals. Feel free to bring ideas, friends and criticism!

You can come and go as you like, stay for single days, the entire camp, or even longer! We will try to organize busses from different cities and sleeping places in houses nearby to make this camp more accessible. If you can help with that: please text us!
