  • ☀️ Midsummer CⒶmp

    Knus Krigsmaskinen, 19.-28.06.☀️

Celebrate midsummer and co-create a camp with us!

    🗓️ 19.-28. June

    📍 Rødbyveien 43, Hurummarka, norway

    🏕️ self organised camping

We want to celebrate midsummer in a place of active resistance against the war machine and environmental destruction. The area where the camp will take place is squatted since the beginning of April 2026. It is surrounded by forests, lakes, a house and mountains. This means that there will always be space for everybody 😉

Let’s co-create a diverse program of skillshares, workshops, music, DIY, art and actions.

Let’s build a community and different barrios together, let’s grow a culture of care.

💬 If you want to co-create the program, message us at knuskrigsmaskinen.camp@systemli.org

We love for you to inform us before the camp starts about your plans, so we can hold space for it to go as smooth as possible. If that doesn’t work for you, we can create space for anything you might bring spontaneously during the camp together.

    More infos coming soon…

  • “Democracy! Bread and Circus!”

🎪🤹  Welcome to the performance “Democracy! Bread and Circus!” directed by the Norwegian Defence States Agency, Chemring and Asker Municipality. All decisions have been made, come in and watch the play Democracy!”

11 May, Tofte Secondary School: What was supposed to be a model for democratic participation and transparent planning from the Norwegian Defence States Agency and Chemring, has turned out to be exactly the opposite: a well-directed mock process. The recently launched planning report and the so-called “People’s Meeting” are nothing more than a play designed to give citizens the illusion of influence, while the decisions have already been made.
It is very gratifying to see that so many of the locals are not fooled by the leather process, but possess a lot of important knowledge and put the Norwegian Defence States Agency to the wall.

How has the Norwegian Defence States Agency reached its conclusions? Have they changed the criteria or were the criteria also decided in advance? We cannot accept that the Norwegian Defence States Agency continues to use “open meetings” as an excuse for a lack of genuine dialogue. A planning process that is not willing to accept criticism and adjust its course is not a planning process, it is a decision-making machine. When Chemring Nobel, Asker municipality, the Norwegian Defence States Agency and the State are united in not allowing the local population to take part in deciding whether there should be an explosives factory at Hurum or not, the local population should take matters into their own hands.

We also invite you to our open meetings in Avgrundsdalen. Boycott or disrupt all of the leather processes set up by the Norwegian Defence States Agency and Asker Municipality, support us in the Avgrunnsdalen Valley and help build up direct democracy and real resistance to the war machine.

  • If you’ve ever wondered what you would have done during world war 2

If you’ve ever wondered what you would have done during world war 2

Today we remember the liberation day from the nazi-occupation.
We remember all those whose names are buried under the amnesia of time,
who stood up against the nazis,
    to do what is right,
    without getting credit for it.

We remember the teachers who refused to teach the kids the nazi curriculum.
We remember the Norwegian police officers who refused to collaborate with the nazis,
and instead made fake passports for jews,
and was sent to concentration camps because of it.

We remember all the women who resisted, with guns, with radios, with any means necessary.
We remember all those who endured gestapo’s torture, not to snitch on comrades and their loved ones.
We remember all those who saw suicide as the only way out.

We comemmorate all those who are imprisoned today, fighting the same fascist ideology as back then.

How is our world of today different from the times of world war 2? In terms of the need to stand up and resist the horrors resulting from the majority’s ignorance?
Some say world war 3 has long begun.

Ask the people of Palestine, Sudan, Yemen, Congo, Kurdistan, Lebanon, Ukraine, Myanmar, Libya, Iran, Afghanistan, or those living on and defending indigenous territories.
Ask the people who drown under a dinghy (whats that?), trying to flee from western bomb rain.
Ask the people who survive under modern slavery.
Ask the thousands of species at the brinknof extinction. (cant ask those thatvare extinct)
Ask the pigs and chickens in mega slaughter-factories.
Ask the beings that are stuck in climate disasters.
Ask the future children of the world, who are fighting over the crops that didn’t fail.
Ask the people who sleep on the rough streets in the imperial core,
Ask those who don’t like to sleep on a privileged white pillow soaked in exploited blood from the imperial periphery.
Ask the people who think nobody is free until everybody is free.

If you’ve ever wondered what you would have done during world war 2 … you’re doing it now.

  • News from Asker Commune

Today, Asker Commune informed us that they talked to the police about an eviction. We are expecting the next time to be more stressful than usual. Come by to support on-site or contribute otherwise! Together, we can stop Europe’s biggest war-explosives factory from being built!

🐞 On April 2nd, we occupied a cabin in the beautiful, old forests of Hurummarka (near Oslo, Norway). In the past month, we have become part of a community concerned about social justice, peace, ecology and decolonial struggels by Sámi and Palestinian people. We were finding union with the trees and creatures around us, connecting more and more to the land. We started living alternatives to war, genocide, and colonialism.

Now, Asker commune wants us out. Chemring Nobel is interested in selling war-explosives for profit – ignorant about the deaths their weapons causes in Gaza, blind against fueling fascism in Germany by making deals with Diehl Defense. And the Norwegian Government is all to happy to clear the future construction site of protest.

We need you now to defend this land, to speak up against war, to rebuild utopias. 🐛

If you have capacities: come by and/or join the struggle against Chemring Nobel! You can contact us and find more infos here

    1st of May

Remember the past, build a future that lasts! Shoutout from Avgrunnsdalen to everybody in the streets today ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

On Tuesday the norwegian parliament will discuss whether to protect Hurummarka or not. While some might still have hope in the official legal process, we have long ago decided to take things in to our own hands and protect Hurummarka by living with the forest. We are here in solidatity with all the beings killed or otherwise affected by the war politics of governments

Join us 🦔🏕🏴 Don’t know how?

    Come to our open meeting!!
    📅 tomorrow, 2nd of May
    16:00
    📍here in Avgrunnsdalen!

We will have coffee and waffles 😉

  • Governments produce war, people defend life

Governments produce war, people defend life

Its not a secret. The new proposed factory plans affect an area three times as big as chemring originally claimed. This factory will be the end for the hurum forest.

Allthough Norways ministry of war and Chemring claim this death factory shall ensure peace and security, we know: A safe life for the people can not emerge from the war politics of governments. It can only emerge from the selforganization, discussion and mutual aid of the people.

Governments produce war, people defend life. Join us in defending life against the war machine ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

  • Open meeting on Saturday, 2nd of May at 16:00

Yesterday, Forsvarsbygg and Norconsult sent their new “proposal” for the areal plans of Chemring’s explosives factory to Naturvernforbundet. They instantly criticized these plans, as they suddenly affect a much larger area of the forest, nearby towns, streams and lakes than initially suggested. In addition, certain criteria have been adjusted in a way that Hurummarka appears to become the only viable location for this project.

While misleadingly calling their plans as a “proposal”, nothing essential about this factory is up to debate. A “no” is not – and has never been – a possible answer. Instead of being honest about this truth, Forsvarsbygg continues the theatre of “democracy” by now inviting citizens to “open meetings”.
We invite everyone to no longer accept this show as a inevitable normality. Join us for our open meeting on Saturday, 2nd of May, at 16:00 here in Avgrunnsdalen.

Let’s dream together about how this valley can develope into a place of ardent resistance and solidarity.
