    Signal Light: 🟡YELLOW🟡

Since a couple of weeks there are some rumors regarding the date of an eviction and the dismantling of our house.
First: We are not evicted yet🎉

There are new informations coming every day but this is what we know so far:

    1. The complaints are still being dealt with. If the Kommune sticks to their decision the complaints will be forwarded to the statsforvalter.

    2. On the 11.08. the Kommune asked the police again to help with an eviction.

Those are the points we know for sure are true. We are working on confirming more information regarding the situation.

We don’t have a concrete date of eviction but the Kommune is clearly working towards our eviction. Also, the contractor can chooose to demolish our house at their own risk at any time. Lets make sure that they dont take that risk! Support the AFS with organising actions and demonstrations at the demolition companies offices. If you need more info for this, please contact us.

Other things you can do is to Print and wheatpaste flyers, tag the cities (especially oslo) with knus krigsmaskinen, organise infotalks, fundraising events and come to the valley (its beautiful!!).

Of course you are also welcome to come around and help us prepare for an eviction and building up the resistance!

    Love and rage 🖤💚

  • Signal light system

What is the signal light system? The signal light system is used to give people an easy impression on the danger of the AFS being evicted or not. Further, the meaning of the colors will be explained:

🟢GREEN: There is no danger of the AFS getting evicted. Neither Asker Kommune nor the police infomed us that they want to evict us.

🟡YELLOW: Asker Kommune and/or the police wants to evict us. There are still ongoing legal processes. There is no eviction notice/date of eviction yet. Please be aware that the situation can change within a day and the signal light can change to RED quickly.

🔴RED: There is an eviction notice, OR all legal processes of putting the eviction/destruction of our house on hold are finished. There might be an explicit date of eviction but not neccessarily.

  • Reminder: Panel Discussion this Saturday!

This Saturday, August 15th at 18:00 there will be the panel discussion Compost the Colony hosted at Rosa Bøker in Oslo. Find more info about the event here.

  • Solidarity with the Ulm 5

We stand in Solidarity with the Ulm 5! For taking direct action against Elbit System.

As we are here to prevent the construction of a Chemring Nobel site to sabotage the war machine the Ulm 5 targeted Elbit Systems in Ulm. This German producing site of the international Isreali company is developing and selling weapons and tech used in the genocide in Gaza.

The five peace activists (Crow, Daniel, Leandra, Vi, and Zo) trying to uphold international law, have been held in pre-trial detention since 08 September 2025, and are facing a show trial since April 2026 that was extended until January 2027.

We want to hold Elbit accountable for their complicity in genocide.
Weapon factories should be a thing of the past, put THEM behind a glass cage and get the Ulm 5 out of there.
    PUT ELBIT SYSTEM ON TRIAL!!!!

Knus Krigsmaskinen! and the local resistance stand together against Chemring’s new explosives factory in Hurummarka

On Friday, 17th of July, the fire department visited us together with an electrical inspector. Due to the successful cooperation between us from Knus Krigsmaskinen and the fire department, the municipality was excluded from the visit. As expected, our house was declared fire safe, which shows again that we do not need any authority to take care of us and that all claims of worrying for our safety are a only a pretext for the municipality to increase pressure on us before they try to demolish the house.

Today also made one thing very clear: That we in Avgrunnsdalen stand together with the local resistance against Chemring’s war factory. We may have different ways of doing things, but this diversity of tactics is what makes us strong and resilient. Together with Folkeaksjonen for Hurummarka and individual locals we despise the municipality’s wish to demolish our house in Avgrunnsdalen. This blatant attempt to silence the growing resistance in Hurummarka and to distract from the political content of our occupation is yet another example of Asker Kommunes lack of integrity.

Instead the Kommune administration has fast tracked the permitting process for demolition and contracted Stener Sørensen AS of Drammen for the job. They now work together in the service of building this factory whose products we know are essential for the perpetuation of genocidal and imperial wars. We promise their work will not go according to plan.

Companies like Lockheed Martin and Northrup Grumman, currently supplied by Chemring Nobel, profit off the US’s latest attacks on Iran. Chemring and their politicians like to deny this reality by referring to Norway’s high export regulation standards. But while Norwegian export practices do not usually license export to military supplies for Israel, export to the US is treated as export to allies, even though the products end up in the missiles fired on Gaza. Ny Tid, Electronic Intifada and BDS Norge have made this chain transparent.

All publicly available information on Chemring’s war economy is collected at stopchemring.com.

If the municipality and the state want to demolish, we must build up. We invite everyone to join us next week, from 20th-26th of July for our building days. You can sleep here, eat and cook together with us, and be part of making Avgrunnsdalen impossible to evict.

When one can profit on war, how can there ever be peace in a capitalist world?

    Knus Krigsmaskinen!

  • Letter to Stener Sørensen AS

Yesterday the demolition of our house got accepted. The demolition company that was hired to tear down the squatted house of the AFS is Stener Sørensen AS.

To ask the company to drop out of the agreement with Asker kommune please send them the following message. The companies email address is firmapost@ssas.no.

View the English version of the letter here

    Dear management and employees,

We are writing to you because we hope you will take a moment to think about what role you can play in what is now happening in Hurummarka.

You are asked to demolish the house that activists have used as a symbol of their opposition to the plans for a new weapons factory. For many of us, this is about far more than a house. It is about which direction we want Norway to take.

We believe that the world does not need more weapons, more weapon parts or greater production capacity for war. Every day we see images of civilians affected by armed conflicts – children, families and local communities who lose everything. At the same time, we are in the middle of a natural crisis, where valuable forests and biological diversity are constantly being destroyed.

We therefore ask you to ask yourselves: Must this be your mission?

No one can bear responsibility for the world’s conflicts alone. But every company and every person can make choices about what they want to contribute to. By refusing this assignment, you can send a strong signal that conscience and ethical responsibility must sometimes outweigh a contract.

If the demolition is carried out, many will feel that it will become a symbol of economic interests being put before nature conservation, democratic engagement and opposition to increased weapons production. We sincerely hope that you do not want to be remembered for having contributed to this.

We therefore ask you to withdraw from the assignment and let other solutions be considered. It takes courage to say no, but precisely such choices help to define who we are – both as people and as businesses.

We hope you listen to your heart before the excavators are started.

With hope for consideration and humanity,

Greetings, one of many who want to preserve Hurummarka and work for a more peaceful future.
