    We are so inspired to keep fighting because of all the support we received in past days. So many locals passed by and shared their appreciation for our squat and we got to connect to local and national organisations. All this shows how broad the resistance against Chemring, the state and their death factory is. We can not let Norwegian complicity in genocide and imperial wars continue and that’s why we decided to stay in the house at all costs. Come by in the next days to support and connect with us.   • An unpleasant surprise

    Hey folks! The municipality left us a break up letter today: they want to have us out before 14:00 tomorrow. But we really like it here!!! So we invited them to a dialogue about how we can continue to take care of this beautiful house. Let’s see if they are interested…or if they prefer dialogue with the cops… We’ll keep you updated!

    They present themselves as protectors, even a global community. But Chemring is nothing more than actively fueling the global war machine and US imperialism.

    Chemring Nobel is 100% owned by British Chemring Group PLC. 90% of Chemring Nobel’s production is exported to other countries, most of it going to the US weapons industry like Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman and SpaceX, and from the US military directly to the genocidal regime of so-called israel.

    In the last weeks, stock prices for major arms-producing companies in the US have all risen drastically, including for Northrop Grumman and Lockheed Martin. Both companies produce the missiles, fighter jets, bombers and radar technology used on killing civilians in Iran.

    Each day we spend here in Avgrunnsdalen our hearts are with those who’ve lost their lives or their loved ones and who face the unimaginable horrors of imperial aggression.

    Enough is enough!

    With our new squat in Avgrunsdalen we are a stone in the gears of this war machine. Let us work together to stop Norwegian complicity in war and genocide now!

    After the storm

    The last snow is melting, and so it also feels for us. Yesterday we had a great day where we could expand our network with the local community and the activist scene in norway.
    After rainy days of exploring the forest and hills, with water dripping and singing everywhere around us, the sun showed up with people to befriend and listen to. Its a joy feeling that our house in the forest can be place for us to meet and connect fighting the deathmashine of militarization.
    We came up with several ideas for events and started the first plannings. We have an event overview on our website now ~ looking forward to meet you here🦋🐦‍⬛🐾

    We had a quiet night deep in this beautiful forest (with endless opportunities!). Today is rainy and we stay inside, mostly working on improving our website and making it nice for some visitors we expect tomorrow 🦉🐌

    On the first picture you can see the zone where the factory is planned to be built. Our squat is right in the middle orange area, in the upper part where you can see the small crossroad. On the second picture you can see the view on a hill in the hurummark forest. We will not allow this destruction to happen!!

    The first waffle saturday

    Our first “waffles-not-weapons” saturday (which turned into a “pancakes-not-profitonwar” saturday) is really cozy and we aready got to connect with quite some locals ❤️ thanks for coming by! We still have some dough for more pancakes, so theres till timentobcome by. And we also plan to have more open gatherings in the coming days. Stay tuned 🥞

    The municipality came by asking us to not break anything in the house and wishing us a happy easter 🐣 how nice of them! the rest of the day has been quiet and we got ready to welcome people tomorrow to our first “waffles-not-weapons” saturday. Well have a campfire, waffles, and coffee from 10-13 (or longer). See you there 🧇🔥🌲

    We spent the day working on making our place more welcoming and preparing for waffles and a bonfire with locals tomorrow! But then sadly we got interruptrd by two cops passing by and wishing to enter our house. We could not grant them this wish 🪄❄️and hope they stay in their own homes from now. But we cant be for sure, so we appreciate people just coming by today already ❤️🧚‍♂

    Just as we moved in some spring snow came by to say hello 🙂 we enjoy the white covered trees and warm ourselves at the fire place in our new home 🌲🔥❄️🦉
